The Omari family came to Skipton 2 years ago after a spell in a hotel in Scarborough. They have been well supported by local people. Yesmien Bagh Ali, Margaret Creek and Julie James especially have done a huge amount to help them to settle in and thrive, as well as many others who have contributed in various ways.

Mozhgan is a great cook and the family has recently been running pop up restaurant events in Embsay Village Hall. These have all sold out and been very successful. They recently received the Biggest Achievement Award at a Multiply Celebration and Awards ceremony in York. Craven College helped with the award.
